The IHSAA official Moratorium dates for the summer of 2011 are July 4 - July 10. By definition:
RULE 15-3.4 MORATORIUM
Each member school shall observe a moratorium starting on Monday of the week which includes July 4th. During this seven-day period, there shall be no contact between athletes and coaches, and no athletic activities, including conditioning, conducted.
This Moratorium time would be the perfect time for a family vacation, mission trip, or just down time. If at all possible, please consider these dates when building your summer schedule.
